Readers — attention! A new boutique nail salon just opened on South Lake Ave. in Pasadena. Its name? Olive and June. Its speciality? Creating a “downright lovely” experience when getting your nails done.

Um, yes, please!

Olive and June first made it’s debut in posh Beverly Hills. Now, with the opening of the boutique’s second shop, east-siders can enjoy amazing mani/pedis in a whimsical and modern space. Inside, the interior looks more like a boutique for posh home decor—clean whites, fresh woods, pops of colors. It’s like a Dry Bar for your nails. As in, customers receive a simple service in a fashion blogger’s dream space. All for a (decent) price.

One thing I love about Olive and June’s motto is this: “We keep all of your preferences on file. We make it our business to know if you like to have your cuticles pushed back, drink coffee or tea, or if you’ve committed to Geranium on your toes. Our talented nail technicians care about their work and your experience.”

This alone makes their prices worth it. Manis range from $18 to $35, depending on services (extra massage time, organic beauty products, gels) and pedis go from $26 up to $45, which includes pedis for moms-to-be, exfoliations for feet, extended massages, etc. Then there’s the luxe speciality—$50 mani and the $90 pedi, (featuring paraffin, exclusive detoxifying foot bath, extra callus remover, and a 15 minute massage); extra 10 minute massages for only an additional $12. And nail art? Name it, they’ve got it. Chevron? Polka dots? Leopard print? Check. Check. And check.

Be sure to book online—and cancel within 24 hours if you can’t make your appointment. Olive and June is open Monday through Sunday, 9am – 8pm.
