Pasadena seems to open a new restaurant every other week. Or is it just me? But this one, I’m excited about. The spot where the Market on Holly was (yes, this place changed hands again) has been taken over by a new breakfast, lunch, and brunch cafe, Sangers & Joe.
Its menu includes gourmet coffees and teas, pastries, fresh sandwiches and salads, wine and beer, and much more. And this Saturday, October 24th, guests are invited to the cafe’s Grand Opening Party to sample some of their appetizers and select menu items, along with wine spritzers—all for free. Plus, the cafe has teamed up with local block members—Juice Served Here (whose juice will be used in the spritzers); Therapy and Maude Wood’s Artful Living Shop (who are offering 20% off your purchase).
So, whether you’re new to the Pasadena neighborhood or a veteran of these streets, come by this Saturday from 4pm-8pm for the Grand Opening Party for some savory treats, discounted shopping, and a live jazz trio.
