Foodies, listen up! On Saturday October 10th, from 11am until 5pm, South Lake Ave is hosting its annual Taste of South Lake. It’s free. It’s food. It’s fun. It’s also Pasadena’s largest culinary celebration—oh my!

I attended last year’s event and I must say, I loved it. Roaming over 25 booths, tasting everything from vegetarian delights to submarine sandwiches to pizza slices to vegan desserts; it’s a perfect way to discover new favorite restaurants linning South Lake Ave. For example. I never would have thought to try a vegan cupcake from Real Food Daily. I’m not vegan. Not even a vegetarian. And yet, that succulent chocolaty hostess styled cupcake was ah-mazing.

For those of you who enjoy beer and wine, there’ll be a beer, wine, and cocktail garden. For those interested in live cooking demonstrations—they’ve got those going all day long. And for those who want to sit back and listen to some live music, score. Bands will take the stage from 11am until 3pm, including “acclaimed American rock band signed to Universal Records,” The Colourist.

So if you’re a foodie—or just curious about South Lake’s limitless dinning options–come check out the Taste of South Lake on October 10th. Discover something new!
